A Providence, RI, product, he built Tasca Ford into an automotive-dealership empire. In conjunction, be brought national prominence to New England drag racing, campaigning a long list of lightning-fast machines throughout the Muscle Car era.

After getting involved at the drag strip in Charlestown, RI, he sold his "Win on Sunday, Sell on Monday" mantra to Detroit which resulted in a strong relationship with Ford, especially on performance issues. The Cobra Jet Mustang was developed at Tasca Ford. The family continues to have a direct participation in the top levels of drag racing. He passed away in January of 2010.
