"UPDATE: NEAR President Paul Masse has authorized members to receive 1 bonus point for attendance at the Grand Opening of the Ron Bouchard Racing Museum on Saturday, September 26th in Fitchburg, MA.

This is a non-scheduled, non-points event, but the club stands to earn a substantial donation for a good turn out. The following day is a Running, points event at the New London Waterford Speedbowl. The president appreciates the fact that these are back-to-back events and for that reason has authorized a bonus point for attending Ron Bouchard's on Saturday with a car."

We are very excited to be asked specifically by NEAR Hall of Famer, Ron Bouchard, to participate in the Grand Opening of his Racing Museum by showing our NEAR Vintage race cars at this non-points event. The club is looking for an impressive turn-out from our members to support the Grand Opening. This is a great opportunity and we are really appreciative of the personal invite.
